The Rogue Valley Human Society
is the only No-Kill, Non-Profit 501(c)(3) animal shelter in Josephine
County. Just since December 20l0 we have rescued over 200 dogs
and cats from animal hoarding situations alone. Add all these
rescued animals to our normal intake of abandoned and unwanted
pets and the load is sometimes staggering for the size of our
shelter.
We are a local, non-profit facility
that can only survive by donations and grants. We get NO government
help on any level.
Our dogs and cats have a home
with us, until they find a safe, loving home with you. We are
a NO KILL shelter which means some of our charges stay with us
for some time before they find the right home.
We are not affiliated with, nor
do we receive funds from, The Humane Society of the United States.
We are YOUR Humane Society.
There are no donations too small
to aid us in our constant endeavors at our sanctuary. ALL donations
go entirely to the upkeep of the facility and care of our animals.
All board members and facility help are volunteers. Your money
goes exactly where it is suppose to.
